rascuache punk show & author talk, 2026
Planned by SAPL’s unique Latino Collection & Resource Center, the Rascuache Punk Show and Author Talk was a celebration of DIY culture and punk music, both deeply rooted elements of San Antonio cultura. The graphic design referenced 80s and 90s punk show posters and the marketing invovlved guerilla tactics to install print posters at record stores and music venues around San Antonio. The author talk with Tara Lopez was attended by over 100 people, followed by a punk show on the rooftop of the Central Library parking garage during sunset with over 1,000 attendees. Two social media posts for this event achieved over 10,000 engagements and 120,000 impressions.

This concert poster was distributed to local businesses, including music venues and record shops, to promote the event.
An attendee dons a "What's More Punk than the Public Library" jacket. Custom screen prints of a modified version of this art that read "What's More Punk than the San Antonio Public Library" were given out at the event.
This real featuring a the lead singer of one of the punk bands generated over 100,000 impressions and was shared 3,400 times. It recieved over 8,000 likes in Instagram.
This simple announcement reel generated over 1,500 engagements including 98 reposts and 345 shares.
